The heart of Klaipėda—Martynas Mažvydas Pedestrian Avenue—is adorned with a series of unique, decorative benches created by local artists and city patrons. One of the most intriguing pieces is the bronze sculpture "Echo" ("Aidas") by sculptor Svajūnas Jurkus, positioned right on a granite bench. The artwork depicts two stylized human figures, one of which features a distinct hollow in its head, metaphorically symbolizing the phenomenon of sound and echo in an urban space. This playful installation has become a popular photo spot for both locals and tourists exploring the city.
