Ancient wooden outbuildings and a residential house in the yard of the Daugava Museum

The open-air exhibition territory of the Daugava Museum captures a view of an ancient building complex, which includes a residential house and additional outbuildings. In the foreground on the left side of the image stands a massive log structure, possibly a barn or another outbuilding, with a steep, moss-grown roof. In the center and on the right side, a larger wooden residential house with a thatched roof and wooden plank cladding at the gable is visible.

Between the buildings is a small yard with naturally worn dirt paths leading to the entrances of the structures. In the very center between the two buildings, a large, multi-trunk deciduous tree stands out, whose powerful size and green foliage partially obscure the view of the further parts of the building and the entrance with wooden steps.

The entire yard and surroundings are covered by a moderately maintained lawn, above which rise large, old trees, forming a thick and dense leaf dome. Through the tree branches and leaves on the right side and in the background, sky light shines subtly, creating a cozy, slightly shaded, and historically authentic farmstead atmosphere.
