Vēršupīte river before entering Vecslocene in the wet forest of Slokas Lake nature trail
A serene stretch of the Vēršupīte river is visible in the center of the image, winding its way through a wet deciduous forest. The water surface is dark and smooth as a mirror, clearly and detailedly reflecting the surrounding tree trunks, branches, and green spring leaves. The riverbanks are low and covered with vegetation.
In the foreground on both sides of the river, remarkably lush, bright green grass spreads out, completely covering the ground during the spring season. In the right foreground, dry, yellowish stalks of last year's reeds or grass are also visible among the greenery. The woodland consists of numerous straight and slender trees positioned close to the water's edge.
Light green, newly emerging spring foliage is visible on the tree branches, letting soft daylight into the forest. In the far background, the trees become denser, creating a uniform and pristine wetland forest landscape. The entire image is dominated by spring green tones characteristic of natural tranquility.
