Moss covered fallen tree trunks near a "Rīvas loki" nature trail

A natural and untouched forest landscape along a nature trail, where a well-trodden pedestrian path leads through a grove of pine and spruce trees. The surface of the path is covered with dry needles, leaves, and forest soil. On both sides of the trail, several old, fallen tree trunks lie on the ground, overgrown with a carpet of vibrant green moss, indicating a natural forest regeneration process.

In the foreground on the left, a standing pine trunk stands out with partially peeled bark, revealing light wood. Right next to the path lies the cut end of a log with clearly visible annual growth rings. Straight and slender pine trunks with reddish-brown bark and green spruces with low branches dominate the forest.

In the distance on the left, the edge of the riverbed is faintly discernible between the trees. The forest floor is uneven, hilly, and covered with moss and dry vegetation. The entire image conveys a peaceful, natural forest environment, barely touched by human activity, on an early spring day.
