Broken tree trunks on a steep bank slope of Rivas river in spring
A view from a high, moss-covered slope looks down at the Rivas River flowing through a dense forest. Along the edge of the slope in the foreground, several broken tree trunks with distinctive, light, and splintered ends stand out, contrasting sharply with the dark water and forest floor. The surface of the slope is covered with a thick layer of green moss and dry leaves.
Below, the dark water surface of the Rivas River is visible, bending around the opposite, gentler bank. The riverbed appears calm, reflecting the light filtering through the tree branches. On the opposite bank and within the river bend, numerous slender trees grow—both green spruces and bare deciduous trees, creating a dense grove.
One of the trees in the middle section grows at an angle over the river, adding to the natural and wild character of the landscape. This location perfectly demonstrates the characteristic steep banks of the "Rīvas loki" nature trail, where natural processes occur undisturbed, leaving broken trees in their natural environment.
