Unusually curved and moss covered tree trunk on a forest slope by the river
The central object of the image is an unusually curved tree trunk growing on a steep forest slope. The base of the trunk is covered with a thick layer of green moss, and it makes a distinct arc to the side and upwards before transitioning into vertical growth. The tree canopy at the top consists of green spruce branches with needles.
In the lower background, a water surface is visible through the tree branches, indicating the presence of a river at the foot of the slope. The bank around the river is covered with dry leaves and bare bushes. Numerous other trees, mainly slender, bare deciduous trees and green spruces, grow on the slope and in the background, creating the impression of a dense forest.
The surrounding ground in the foreground is covered with dry grass, needles, and green moss. The light is natural and diffused, highlighting the greenness of the moss on the tree bark and the forest floor. This unique natural sight is captured along the "Rīvas loki" nature trail near the Rivas River.
