Mārtiņš Līnis sculpture in Pāvilosta and rocky shore fortification

The foreground of the image is dominated by a wide and massive shore fortification made of rounded boulders of various sizes and colors, featuring shades of gray, pink, and brown. This rocky embankment stretches along the water's edge and gradually transitions into a green lawn, which separates the stony barrier from the pedestrian promenade.

On the left side of the promenade, the sculpture by Mārtiņš Līnis stands out with its two solid, symmetrical bases and mesh-like metal tops. Further along the pedestrian zone, wooden planter boxes, street lighting poles, and a red brick building with a gabled roof surrounded by green trees and shrubs are visible.

The river's waters open up on the right side of the frame, where several yachts and motorboats are moored with their masts raised. Above the scene lies a vast, bluish evening sky with light clouds, its edges tinted with delicate pink and orange bands from the setting sun.
