Iced stones on the Mersrags coast in a winter landscape
The Mersrags seaside view is dominated by a wide area with many stones of various sizes scattered in the shallow coastal water and on land. Most of the stones are covered with a layer of ice and frost, but some are only partially iced, revealing the natural brownish color of the granite. On the left side, a pointed, pyramid-shaped stone stands out, its base surrounded by a thick "collar" of ice.
In the background, the sea is visible, covered with slush ice and small ice ridges, merging with the light blue, cloudy sky. The horizon line is clear but misty, creating a sense of vastness. The ice on the stones has formed from splashes, creating smooth, wavy shapes that contrast with the rough surface of the rocks.
The ground between the stones is covered with snow and frozen seawater, forming a white and bluish mosaic. The light is diffused and cool, typical of an afternoon by the sea in winter when the sun remains behind the clouds. The surroundings are quiet and harsh, demonstrating the impact of frost and wind on the coastal terrain.
