The Bench of Reconciliation (Susitaikymo suoliukas) is a unique urban art piece located on the lively Martynas Mažvydas pedestrian alley in Klaipėda, Lithuania. The centerpiece of the bench is a bronze sculpture by sculptor Klaudijus Pūdymas, depicting two hands with interlocked pinky fingers—a universal symbol of a childhood promise and the desire to make up after a disagreement. Gifted to the city in 2014 by patrons Giedrė and Teisutis Matulevičiai, this heartwarming spot has become a popular meeting place where locals and tourists sit down to restore peace, forgive, and connect with loved ones.
