Wooden boardwalk with log palisade at Pāvilosta South Beach

A wooden plank boardwalk winds straight through the sandy dunes towards the beach, providing an accessible and well-maintained pedestrian path. On both sides of the walkway, rows of vertical, rounded wooden logs are driven into the ground, serving as a palisade barrier against drifting sand and reinforcing the edges of the trail.

The dune mounds flanking the path are covered with green bushes and typical coastal grasses, which help secure the shifting soil. In the distance, where the boardwalk ends, a wide sandy beach opens up, with a few small figures of people visible near the water's edge.

The calm sea stretches out toward the horizon, meeting a partly cloudy sky. Natural afternoon sunlight softly illuminates the sand and the wooden structures, creating a peaceful and welcoming coastal atmosphere.
