Sunlit icy rocks on Užava beach at sunset
In the sunset light, Uzava beach transforms into a shimmering ice landscape where countless icy rocks cover the coastal strip. The low-hanging sun creates bright reflections on the smooth ice surfaces and the calm seawater. The ice formations are massive and white, creating an unusual, relief-like covering along the entire shore.
In the distance along the coastline, dark tree silhouettes and snowy dunes are visible, contrasting with the bright side of the sky. The ice shapes in the water vary in size, some completely submerged while others rise high above the water level like frozen domes. The play of light on the ice crystals gives the view a warm tint despite the apparent cold.
On the shore, ice and snow have merged into a single mass, forming step-like structures. The water washing over the icy rocks is serene, reflecting the soft colors of the sky. This snapshot of the Užava coast highlights the grandeur of nature and the seasonal changes in the Latvian environment.
