The image shows the historic-style wooden sailing vessel "Libava" moored along the embankment of the Liepāja Trade Canal. The ship's mast with rigging ropes and flag rises above the water, casting a dark reflection on the calm canal surface.

In the background along the waterfront, multi-story residential buildings stand alongside the rounded orange volume of the "Great Amber" concert hall. Further to the right along the pedestrian promenade, other urban structures, a hotel, and moored yachts are visible.
