The impressive irregular shaped rock weighs 80 tons. Next to it we see the so-called “Lāčplēša sega” (Lāčplēsis’ blanket), a 22 ton piece split off the main rock. According to legend, Lāčplēsis comes to rest here at night. lielvarde.lv
