Environmental object "Lynx" is located in the traffic circle of Brīvības and Dolomītas streets, driving along road P76 before entering Jēkabpils.
Its metal silhouette is filled with dolomite shards, symbolizing Dolomite Street and the former dolomite quarry.
About 10 tons of dolomite were used to fill the silhouette of the lynx.
The author of the idea is Valtis Barkāns. The object was installed in 2022.
