Aizpute
The image captures Atmodas Street in Aizpute, a striking reflection of the town’s unique historical heritage. As one of the oldest towns in the Kurzeme region, Aizpute is renowned for its remarkably well-preserved 18th and 19th-century wooden architecture.
On the right side of the street, a distinctive light-blue wooden building stands out, currently housing the children's shop and playroom "Huba-Buba". This contrast between centuries-old structures and modern daily life demonstrates how the historic environment remains functional for locals today. Small signs for auto parts and local shops blend seamlessly into the peaceful rhythm of this small town, which continues to draw tourists and architecture enthusiasts alike.
