Honorary Chair for Arved and Vera Paegle

On July 29, 2017, the Honorary Chair for Arved and Vera Paegle was unveiled. Arveds Paegle and Vera Paegle are well-known weavers of Lielvārde belts in Latvia – masters of folk crafts. Thanks to them, Latvian symbols and the Lielvārde belt have gained new meaning. The work of Arveds and Vera Paegle has contributed to the recognition of the Lielvārde belt not only in Latvia, but also beyond its borders. The author of the chair is metal artist Aldis Lambergs.
