Big forest school
In the forest school, we get to know horses and their world, learning what a horse is. How horses differ from other animals and from humans. How to start mutually pleasant and safe communication with a horse, learn to understand how a horse communicates with a person. After getting to know the horses, we go to the forest, where we make a fire, make circles and talk about the nature of Latvia, its flora and fauna, what animals live in the forest and how to behave in the forest, about the importance of nature, conservation. We explore what it's like to live in the forest, determine the sides of the sky and other small wisdom of the forest.
Walking with horse
Possibility to go on a joint 30-minute walk with a horse at hand, together with a companion. Preparing the horse, getting to know each other, talking about horses.
Horse hour
Lesson for children and adults - getting to know horses, loving them, talking, respecting them. Let's tell what and what a horse is, what we do with horses, let's take a look at the structure of horses and find out how horses differ from other animals.
At Pērkonzirgi, riding is NOT the main activity we do with horses, there is so much we can do without always being on a horse. Classes with us take place in order to communicate and get along with horses, creating a mutually pleasant and reliable bond, learn more and try to understand these animals, and the most important thing is mutual well-being, trust, which requires time and appropriate preparation.
We do not offer riding training lessons at Pērkonzirgi, however, if you already have riding skills, feel free to contact us if you are looking for a stable where you can work with horses and ride, but remember that the well-being and well-being of the horse will always be the main focus in our stable.
