Main Library
The largest library in the city offering its users a wide collection of fiction and non-fiction, different periodicals, audiovisual materials, materials about local history, free internet access points and public access to electronic catalogues and subscription databases. The library also organizes and hosts cultural and life-long education events, provides home library service to homebound residents of the city, as well as runs the EU Information Centre and the Nordic Countries Information Office. The Regional Training Centre provides free consultations on computer- and internet-related issues, helps acquire basic computer skills, and trains people who have vision impairments in the use of special equipment.
