Trail of high wisdom

The Stender Park complex was created in honour of the stablemate family from which 15 Latvian threat pastors came, as well as doctors, lawyers, military personnel, pharmacists and traders. The best known of all is Gotthard Friedrich Stender (old Stenders) – pastor of German nationality, illuminator, founder of Latvian secular fiction, the greatest 18 th century Latvian poet, linguist and inventor.
