The Embassy of Latgale GORS

The Embassy of Latgale GORS – the first acoustic concert hall in Latvia, built from the ground-up, was opened in 2013. Designed by Latvian architects. The acoustics of the highest level, which is appreciated by the famous Latvian and international artists.

Here meet the cultural heritage of Latgale and ancient values, traditions and new performances, language, and events, art, and culture, song and dance.

Since 2013 here are annual events:

• International short film festival “OPEN PLACE”;
• International festival of organ music “ORGANismi”;
• The award in the field of Latgale culture “Boņuks”.

In July and August, regular film screenings are held on the roof terrace under the open sky, which is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy your favorite movies outdoors.

In the Embassy of Latgale GORS are located also:

• 3D cinema “Silverscreen”;
• cafe “ZĪDS”;
• halls for conferences and seminars.
