Resort Rehabilitation Center Jaunķemeri
In 1967 the Jurmala resorts were enlarged by the "Jaunkemeri" - balneotherapy and climate health resort, which which gained its reputation with natural treatment resources - hydrogen sulfide, bromine mineral water, natural peat and sapropelic mud.
The Resort Rehabilitation Center "Jaunkemeri" is located in Jurmala, 36 km away from Riga, in the unique resort environment, which combines the reserved environmental entirety: the Riga Gulf, the golden sands of the beach, the pinewood, pure air, sulfurated, bromide and sodium chloride mineral water, peat and sapropelic therapeutic muds. That is why this resort is therapeutic and unique one.
Built in 1967 the "Jaunkemeri" Center in a single closed complex is an efficient complex of treatment and recreation. Everything is thought through here so that a person, who has crossed the threshold of the sanatorium, can forget everyday cares and dip in the world of health, impressions, piece, comfort and attention. Everything here is subordinated to the harmony with nature.
The Resort Rehabilitation Center "Jaunkemeri" is completely privatized and certified medical institution (2000. 14th February Certificate No. LR. R-9). It applies the richest natural healing properties for treatment of heart and peripheral vascular diseases, musculoskeletal system, vertebras diseases, urologic and gynecologic diseases, children's diseases, metabolic diseases, digestive organs as well as obesity. Treatment of patients with orthopedic disorders is possible in order to improve the quality of their life, regain lost function and independence in carrying out daily activities.
RRC "Jaunkemeri 'work throughout the year. Guests take multiple treatments everyday (including Saturdays and Sundays) that can reduce duration of cure. The RRC "Jaunkemeri" is composed of a sanatorium for 370 patients.
The Resort Rehabilitation Center - – is a well-equipped complex made of two interconnected buildings: a 9-storey sleeping accommodation with all conveniences and an outpatient clinic.
"Jaunkemeri" is resolved in a single complex, where for everyone ample opportunities receive the required services: diagnosis, health, relaxation or active recreation and entertainment inside the building.
