Remte Manor Park

Park covers an area of 26 hectares. It is decorated with pavilions, columns, towers. The park has a system of ponds and canals.

The garden pavilion (arbour)
Originally, the arbour was supplemented by the marble bust of Johann Friedrich von Medem (1722-1785), the prominent nobleman and politician of the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia. Some legends tell that money had been hidden at the base of the monument, which was probably the reason for the destruction of the bust in 1915.
