Rauna (river)

Left tributary of the River Gauja.

Downstream from the road Rīga–Veclaicene (A2) it flows through a deep and beautiful valley with sandstone outcrops on its banks. The road Cēsis – Valmiera (P20) leads down into the deep valley of river Rauna, which offers a view towards the highest railway bridge in Latvia.
