Lea Davidova-Medene

Lea Davidova-Medene (1921-1986) was a Latvian sculptor.

In 1949 she graduated from the Department of Sculpture of the Latvian State Academy of Art, where she studied under Theodors Zalkalns. In 1951 she began participating in exhibitions. Mostly portraits.

Since 1956 she was member of Latvian Artists' Union. In 1965 she was awarded the State Prize of the Latvian SSR, in 1966 – the Honorary Art Worker of the Latvian SSR.
