Daylily

The daylily is a hardy perennial widely grown for its vibrant blooms and easy care. Its name refers to its main characteristic: each individual flower lasts for only a single day. However, each stem produces multiple buds that open sequentially, keeping the plant in bloom for several weeks.

• Appearance: Long, arching, grass-like leaves form dense clumps. The trumpet-shaped flowers resemble lilies and come in almost every color except pure blue, ranging from yellow and orange to red, pink, and deep purple.
