Architect Rudolph Philip Donberg
Rudolph Philip Donberg is one of the architects of the late 19 th century and early 20 th century Riga rental houses, whose designed buildings are today State-protected real cultural monuments.
Rudolph Philip Donberg graduated from RPI in 1893. He has worked for architect Professor Gustav Hilbiga and architect Wilhelm Brookslaff, but since 1894 Rudolph Donberg had an independent architect's practice and at the same time the architect has been a tactician of several insurance companies.
According to Rudolph Donberg's projects, more than 80 multi-story wall residential and public buildings have been built. 19.gs. he has worked in eclectic style, but at the beginning of the 20 th century Rudolph Donberg's works reflected the language of all artistic-stylistic trends in Riga's Art Nouveau style.
