Neliela korķveidīgas konsistences piepe, kas aug uz mirušas priežu koksnes. Viengadīga. Samērā reti sastopama. Neēdama.

This fungus rarely exceeds 5 cm in width. Spore powder is white. It grows on fallen pine trunks in burned-out places, also in wet pine forests from August to November. It is rather uncommon in Latvia. Inedible.
